As Marine Tourism professionals with extensive experience operating vessels in and around the Badung and  Lombok Strait and Eastern Indonesia, we have an excellent understanding of this seaway and a healthy respect for the ocean.

While the route between Benoa and Lombok can often offer a smooth and enjoyable passage, just as often, it can be less than ideal. As experienced seaman, we understand that a smooth sea passage on a  sunny morning is a real pleasure, however we also understand that a less than ideal crossing is far from the image most people have of their journey between two islands.

Small fishing boats in Padang Bai

This is the primary reason experience told us to utilize the new road to Candidasa and depart from  Padang Bai. No matter where a boat departs from in Bali, you still need to get into a car at least once. Might as well make the car journey work for you.

By doing so we  avail ourselves to the most spectacular scenery of the transit while reducing the potential for an uncomfortable crossing by minimizing the time at sea.

The result is a comfortable scenic drive of about an hour, followed by a scenic sea transit of about an hour. Safe  efficient and comfortable.

In addition, we recognize that many of those people who wish to use our service are likely to be visiting places other than the South Bali tourist enclave. We anticipate divers, travelers, cyclists, round trip tour groups and families will recognise the safety, good sense, efficiency and good value behind our product and use it to move directly between Trawangan / Lombok  and areas like Padang Bai, Candidasa, Ubud, Amed, Tulamben, Lovina, and Pemuteran. Why waste a moment of your holiday.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard Gili Cat from Padang Bai, the Gateway between the white sands of the Gili Islands and the splendor of East Bali, where  Volcano’s greet the sea…
